The Ministry of Agriculture informs consumers about the recall of two products made by Weiand GmbH: PASTA OD SEZAMA (Sesampaste), 122764 – 1001 delights, 120 g, best before 03/2022, and OLJUŠTENI SEZAM Vitasia (Sesam geschält), 148641, 50 g, best before 06/2023.

The food business operator Lidl Hrvatska d.o.o. k.d. is withdrawing and recalling these products because an elevated value of ethylene oxide was found. The products do not comply with Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum residue levels of pesticides in or on food, or with Regulation 178/2002 on the general principles and requirements of food law.
