The State Inspectorate of the Republic of Croatia informs consumers that the food business operator PAN ASIA d.o.o., Zagreb is recalling, as a precaution, the product TAPIOKA PERLE (black), net 250 g, best before 27.9.2022.

The reason for the recall is an increased amount of the additive sorbic acid. The product does not comply with Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008 on food additives.

The manufacturer is SHANGHAI YUAN ZHEN FOOD CO., LTD, China; the distributor is Liroy B.V., Benthuizen, Netherlands; and the product is placed on the market by PAN ASIA d.o.o., Zagreb. The notice applies exclusively to the product listed above.
