The Ministry of Agriculture has issued an additional notice regarding the product recall of 19 January 2021. The recall covers two products: GRISINI SEZAM, MAK, LAN 125 g (SFORNATINI SESAMO, LINO E PAPAVERO) and GIRSINI SEZAM 125 g (SFORNATINI SESAMO), both batch L200923, best before 23/09/2021.

The products are being recalled because of increased levels of the pesticide ethylene oxide in the sesame seeds used in their manufacture. They do not comply with Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum pesticide residue levels and Regulation 178/2002 on general principles and requirements of food law.

The manufacturer is La Mole – F.lli Milan srl, Casella Torinesse, Italy; the product is placed on the market by TOMMY d.o.o., Split. The notice applies only to the products with the details given above.
