Recall: Milka ice cream sticks over ethylene oxide in additive

The Ministry of Agriculture is recalling three Milka ice cream sticks (lots MI0025, MI0146, MI1117, MI1118) after ethylene oxide was found in an additive used in production.

The Ministry of Agriculture informs consumers about the recall of the ice creams Milka classic stick 4×100 ml (LOT MI0025, best before end of 01. 2022; LOT MI0146, best before end of 05. 2022), Milka hazelnut stick 100 ml (LOT MI1117, best before end of 04. 2023) and Milka classic stick 100 ml (LOT MI1118, best before end of 04. 2023).

The reason for the recall is ethylene oxide found in an additive used in ice cream production. The products do not comply with Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum residue levels of pesticides in food.

The distributor of the products is STANIĆ d.o.o., Zagreb. The notice applies exclusively to the products with the details given above.

Consumers should not use the products and should return them to the shop where they were bought.
