The Ministry of Agriculture is informing consumers about the recall of the product CHOCOLATE WITH SESAME AND FLOWER POWDER, 100 g, best before 31/05/2021.

The product is being recalled because of an increased amount of the pesticide ethylene oxide in the sesame seeds used to make it. It does not comply with Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum levels of pesticide residues in or on food, or with Regulation 178/2002 establishing the general principles and requirements of food law.

The manufacturer is Chocolates Torras, S.A., Ella del Terri, Spain. Wholesale: Maka APRICUS d.o.o., Rakitnica 2, Zagreb. It is placed on the market by Bio Planet d.o.o., Split, Mrkvica d.o.o., Zagreb and Obrt za trgovinu MALI LUG, owner Katarina Klepec.
