The EU Safety Gate rapid alert system (reference SR/02465/26) published on 10 September 2026 a recall of Mitsubishi Fuso Canter Step-E lorries, models FEEVN2, FE4P10TF1N1, NKSFE4P10N1SF and NKSFE4P10N1WF, manufactured between 4 March 2024 and 28 November 2025.

The connecting rods for the front upper ball joints do not have the required material hardness due to insufficient induction hardening in the manufacturing process and may break. As a result, the steering could be impaired, and fragments could fall onto the road, increasing the risk of accidents and injuries. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles.

The alert was notified by Germany and the product was found on the market in Croatia by its authorities. A voluntary recall from consumers is being carried out by the importer from 5 August 2026. More information is available from the company at www.fuso-trucks.com.
